Some emails change your day. Others change your story.
A few days ago, my twin brother, Clifford, and I received one of those emails. We had both been selected as recipients of the Cowrywise Scholarship, and honestly, it still feels surreal.
The funny part? We both kept checking our emails and refreshing our inboxes throughout the application process. When the results finally came in, we couldn’t believe we had both made it. Two twins, one scholarship program, one unforgettable moment.
For me, this scholarship represents much more than financial support. It is a reminder that hard work, resilience, and consistency are worth it. There are times when you put in so much effort without knowing how things will turn out, so receiving this recognition was both encouraging and humbling.
What makes this achievement even more special is that I get to share it with my twin brother, Clifford. We’ve always motivated each other to keep aiming higher, and celebrating this milestone together is something we’ll never forget.
I’m sincerely grateful to Cowrywise for investing in students and creating opportunities like this. This scholarship has inspired me to keep working towards my long-term goal of specializing in cybersecurity, pursuing further studies in China, and eventually returning to Imo State to contribute to education and technology.
This is just one milestone, but it’s one I’ll always remember.
